I earned my undergraduate degree in English Literature at Newcomb College of Tulane University.  I completed my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at Trinity University and received a Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin in Counseling Psychology.  I am a licensed psychologist with over thirty years of experience in the mental health field.  In addition to my private practice, I serve as the Program Director for the Master of Arts in Counseling program at St. Edward’s University.  I am married and have two adult children and a mischievous dog, Lola.
